Sigh.

I had big plans for a Christmas recap and year in review post but those will have to wait. My lovely year and a half old MacBook has decided it no longer wants to wake from its slumber and has taken all the pictures and video from my island visit with it. The hard drive, as you may remember was replaced just six months ago. I am typing this entry on my iPod touch.

I have no idea what I will do.

For techies: I press the on button, the cd/DVD drive starts to make the regular noises, it makes the startup chime, there is a white screen with a grey apple and underneath there is the thinking circle going around but the computer is very quiet and in about ten seconds goes to black - totally off. I have tried safe mode, smu reset, pram... Different power source... For the first while I wasn't getting the startup chime.
